Getting Started

Before starting using our site, you first must do these simple tasks:

To edit your username and password in your publisher dashboard, go to My Account > Personal Information and select Edit. In the Edit User screen, update the info as needed and click Save.

As an administrator, go toAs an administrator, go to My Account > Users Click the New User button.

Enter the user’s information and permissions, then scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Save.

You can set up a marketing channel for each site, which allows you to keep track of each site separately.

Multiple URLs or domain names

As an administrator, go to My Account > You can add additional sites

Click the Add another website button

On the Tracking Name screen, fill in the channel information and click Save

Tracking names will give you as much as you want, if you want to have a good idea of what happens when you make adverts Then statistics will help you divide the work and conquer it

Enter Your Payment Account Information

Currently we only support international bank transfers.

The account balance is updated between 2 and 4 weeks, which will then refresh the system, and you will be able to view your correct account balance.
You can withdraw your commission anytime. In order to withdraw your commission, the balance of the commission must exceed US $16. Please note that there is a US $15 processing fee for withdrawals.
Check your reports after a few days have passed:

Transaction information, though tracked immediately by Affpool Affiliate Network technology, may not always be posted in your reports immediately. Affpool must receive confirmation for a transaction from the advertiser before it is posted. Many advertisers will not provide transaction confirmation until the credit card number is authorized or until the product actually ships. Affpool Affiliate Network reports are updated every evening based on the confirmations received. When an advertiser does not send Affpool a confirmation notice for a particular day, transaction information cannot be posted for that day's activity.

Check to see if your sale was non-commissionable:

To do this, view a non-commissionable sales report. This report displays all non-commissionable sales transactions for your account for the period specified. A non-commissionable sale is a transaction that occurs on the advertiser site, but for which commissions are not applicable. A sale may not be applicable for commissions for the following reasons: Certain programs only offer commissions on selected products or actions within the site. For example, many programs that offer gift certificates will not offer commissions on gift certificate sales due to a double discount that may occur. You can view the SKU list of commissionable products for these types of programs. The sale may have occurred outside of the applicable return day period. Affpool Affiliate Network provides an option for programs to specify a return day window. This window allows a program to compensate publishers for sales that may occur beyond the point of first click-through. This window may be set between 0 and 999 days. If return days are set at zero, the advertiser will only compensate at the point of click-through. Any subsequent sale that occurs from a visit directly to the Web site will not be commissionable. Full details of an advertiser's program in which you are participating are available for your review in the Domains > My Advertisers section of your publisher dashboard. Simply select the advertiser and click on the offer name in which you are participating from the Program Details box on the left.

Use the Transaction Inquiry system:

First go to Order Report> Payment Info and click Search in order to ensure that the order has not been processed by our system. If our system still cannot locate your order and at least 7 days have passed since the order was placed, go to Messages > Compose > Admin > Advertiser . The advertiser will be notified of your inquiry. We recommend that all advertisers respond to your inquiry within 30 days. If there is no resolution within this time, please contact the advertiser directly. To view the status of your inquiry, go to Messages

Publisher Dashboard Reports Overview

You can use a variety of reports on the Publisher Dashboard to track and analyze activity. Use these reports to improve and maximize sales.

  1. Gross Sales and Commissions Report: This report allows you to easily compare your Sales and Total Commissions together with the Gross Sales and Gross Total Commissions for each advertiser. Gross sales and gross total commissions do not include cancellations.
  2. Individual Item Report: View your sales broken down by the time and date that each item was sold. You can view each sale according to time of day, transaction date, advertiser name, SKU, product name, the number of items, and total commission.
  3. Link Type Report: This report shows which of your links are working most effectively. You can add columns to track and compare the activity of each link type used, and to evaluate the performance of each individual link.
  4. Offer Report: The Offer Report allows you to compare and analyze the success of the different types of programs among your advertiser accounts. You can view impressions, click-throughs, sales, commissions, and more for each offer.
  5. Revenue Report: This report details which days, weeks, and months are your most successful. You can view impressions, click-throughs, orders, items sold, sales, and commissions by time period. This report only displays periods with at least one impression or one click.

Usage Guides

We encourage using your content in as many ways as possible, in order to give the broadest reach.

Deep links are affiliate links (including your tracking code) that direct your site's visitors to a specific page on an advertiser's site rather than to the advertiser's homepage. They are links that go deeper into a site so you can turn visitors into customers. Generally, these deep links will convert better (sales, for example) because they send the visitor to a page with information specific to what they are seeking to purchase.

NOTE: You must be approved into an advertiser's program and the advertiser must allow deep links for you to create a deep link.

How do I create deep links?

To create a deep link to one or more web pages on an advertiser's site using the publisher dashboard, simply follow the steps below:

In your publisher dashboard, go to Deep Linking. Select an advertiser partner from the drop-down menu and then click Browse Advertiser Site to find the URL. Paste the URL of the product you want to place on your site in the URL field. Please note: the URL field includes http://. After pasting your URL, please check to make sure http:// doesn’t appear twice in your link.deep_linking

Select whether you want a Single link or Multiple links.

Enter a title that you want to associate with the Page, and click "Create Link" to generate a link code that will appear below the "URL" field. Copy and paste the code into your website and you're ready to go! Your links will start going to the right page almost immediately, and your activity will be listed as deep links in the Iframes & Deeplinks report and other reports.

In the Iframes & Deeplinks table you can plan your publications with deep links in social networks.

Publishers can create interactive media ads consisting of several text from one or several advertising partners through the Banners tool.

When your customers click the banners, they are brought directly to the target page of an advertiser’s product on the site.

2. If you are a visitor of www.affpool.com

If you visit the Affpool website, no personal data is collected and recorded unless you provided it voluntarily, e.g. as part of a survey. However, we log the following non-personal data to facilitate the use of our website and to ensure its security and stability our web servers:
  • the IP address of the requesting device;
  • the date and time of your visit;
  • the data specifications of your browser and operating system;
  • the website you were referred from to our website (so-called Referrer URL).
This information is stored in a log file until it is automatically deleted.

3. Data protection and transmitting to third parties

Affpool takes all technical and organizational security measures required to protect your personal data from loss, unauthorized disclosure or other forms of misuse. Data is stored in a safe environment that is not open to public access. Your personal data may be encrypted before transmission in certain cases (e.g. processing your login data). This means that – support by your browser provided – communication between your device and our servers will include recognized encryption measures. Our staff has been trained in privacy matters and in dealing with data and information, which they gain access to in a responsible manner. Please be aware that should you contact us via email, confidentiality of information therein may not be ensured. Third persons may have access to the contents of emails. Affpool may transmit your data to:
  • Service providers — to assist or facilitate in the services we provide to our clients, but only if we contractually assigned these to process data on our behalf and, both ourselves and the subcontracted service providers comply with all requirements of commissioned data processing regulations pursuant to the German law on data protection; data is stored within the European Union and the European Economic Area;
  • Advertisers and publishers in our network — to provide our services;
  • Social media platforms and third-party providers whose cookies and other codes are embedded on our website;
  • Companies that we control and subsidiaries of such to fulfill our contractual obligations provided that these companies are subject to this Privacy Policy or privacy guidelines ensuring at least equal protection for your data;
  • State institutions on the basis of mandatory national legislation.
We do not transmit data to other third parties unless you have given your consent thereto. In the event that Affpool is acquired by or merged with a third party, we reserve the right, in any of these circumstances, to transfer or assign the information we have collected from you as part of such merger, acquisition, sale, or other change of control. In the unlikely event of our bankruptcy, insolvency, reorganization, receivership, or assignment for the benefit of creditors, or the application of laws or equitable principles affecting creditors' rights generally, we may not be able to control how your information is treated, transferred, or used.

4. User rights

You have the following rights concerning our processing of your personal data:

  • Right to erasure;
  • Right to object (on grounds relating your particular situation) in case of processing of your personal data based on our legitimate interest (e.g. direct marketing);

In case you registered as a publisher or an advertiser on our website, you may access your account and correct or delete some of your data by yourself. While observing applicable privacy legislation we will erase your data without any action required by you, if retention of your data is no longer necessary for the purpose pursued or retention is no longer allowed for any legal reason. We may restrict processing instead of erasing your data where legally not allowed to erase (e.g. legal obligations to maintain your personal data).

5. Amendments

We may modify this Privacy Policy and our data security provisions at any time, in particular, if new laws and regulations need to be adopted or we regard amendments reasonable.
